Correlations among serum visfatin, long non-coding RNA metastasis associated lung adenocarcinoma transcript 1,glycosylated hemoglobin levels and adverse pregnancy outcomes in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus
Objective:To analyze correlations among serum visfatin, long non-coding RNA lung metastasis associated lung adenocarcinoma transcript 1(LncRNA MALAT1),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)levels and adverse pregnancy outcomes in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods:A total of 103 patients with GDM admitted to this hospital from April 2021 to April 2023 were selected as the study subjects and were included in the observation group. In addition,103 healthy pregnant women who underwent prenatal examination in this hospital during the same period were selected as the control group. The levels of serum visfatin,LncRNA MALAT1 and HbA1c were detected in the two groups. These GDM patients were followed up until they were discharged. The levels of serum visfatin,LncRNA MALAT1 and HbA1c were compared between the two groups and the GDM patients with different pregnancy outcomes. The correlations among the serum visfatin,LncRNA MALAT1,HbA1c levels and the adverse pregnancy outcomes in the GDM patients were analyzed. Results:The levels of serum Visfatin,LncRNA MALAT1 and HbA1c in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of serum Visfatin,LncRNA MALAT1 and HbA1c in the GDM patients with adverse pregnancy outcomes were higher than those in the GDM patients with normal pregnancy outcomes, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that the serum Visfatin,LncRNA MALAT1 and HbA1c levels were positively correlated with the adverse pregnancy outcomes in the GDM patients(r>0,P<0.05).Conclusions:The serum Visfatin,LncRNA MALAT1 and HbA1c levels are positively correlated with the adverse pregnancy outcomes in the GDM patients.
