Application effects of predictive nursing in patients with gynecological tumors undergoing chemotherapy with PICC catheterization
Objective:To observe application effects of predictive nursing in patients with gynecological tumors undergoing chemotherapy with peripherally inserted central catheter(PICC)catheterization. Methods:The clinical data of 100 patients with gynecological tumors undergoing chemotherapy with PICC catheterization admitted to this hospital from December 2020 to December 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different nursing schemes, they were divided into control group and observation group,50 cases in each. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given the predictive nursing on the basis of that of the control group. The incidence of complications, the negative emotions[self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS)]score, the self-care ability[exercise of self-care agency scale(ESCA)]score, and the quality of life[European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer quality of life questionnaire core 30(EORTC QLQ-C30)]score before and after the nursing, and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:The incidence of complications in the observation group was 10.00% (5/50),which was lower than 26.00% (13/50)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing, the scores of SDS and SAS in the two groups were lower than those before the nursing, those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The ESCA scores of the two groups were higher than those before the nursing, and that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing, the EORTC QLQ-C30 scores of the two groups were lower than those before the nursing, and that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 96.00% (48/50),which was higher than 80.00% (40/50)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:On the basis of the routine nursing, the predictive nursing can improve the self-care ability scores and the nursing satisfaction of the patients with gynecological tumors undergoing chemotherapy with PICC catheterization, and reduce the negative emotions, the quality of life scores and the incidence of complications. Moreover,it is superior to single routine nursing.
