Objective:To understand status and influencing factors of palliative care knowledge, attitude and practice among undergraduate nursing interns. Methods:A cross-sectional study was conducted on 132 undergraduate nursing interns in Shenzhen Second People's Hospital from February 2022 to March 2022.The questionnaires were distributed through the WJX platform. The status of palliative care knowledge, belief and practice among the undergraduate nursing interns was statistically analyzed.Multivariate linear regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of palliative care knowledge, attitude and practice among the undergraduate nursing interns. Results:The score of palliative care knowledge dimension of the undergraduate nursing interns was 9-19 points with an average of(16.12±2.03)points.The score of attitude dimension was 47-85 points with an average of(67.69±8.45)points.The score of practice dimension ranged from 9 to 40 points, with an average of(30.28±6.33)points.The multivariate linear regression analysis showed that male, not participating in palliative care training, and unwilling to participate in palliative care volunteer service were all risk factors for the low score of palliative care knowledge dimension of the undergraduate nursing interns(P<0.05);male and unwilling to work in the hospice ward were risk factors for the low score of palliative care attitude dimension(P<0.05);and male and not participating in palliative care training were risk factors for low score of palliative care practice dimension(P<0.05).Conclusions:Male,not participating in palliative care training, unwilling to participate in palliative care volunteer service, and unwilling to work in hospice ward are the risk factors for palliative care knowledge, attitude and practice of the undergraduate nursing interns.
