Influencing factors of self-perceived burden in elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in remission period
Objective:To analyze influencing factors of self-perceived burden in elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)in remission period. Methods:A cross-sectional study was conducted on 106 elderly patients with COPD in remission period admitted to the hospital from January 2019 to April 2021.The clinical data of these patients were collected. The degree of dyspnea, the activity of daily living score, the mindfulness level, and the self-perceived burden score were evaluated.Multivariate linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of self-perceived burden in the elderly patients with COPD in remission. Results:The self-perceived burden scale(SPBS)score of the 106 elderly patients with COPD in remission period was(28.85±3.25),of which the economic burden score was(6.54±1.84),the physical burden score was(9.35±2.15),and the emotional burden score was(12.96±2.32).There were no significant differences in the SPBS score among the patients with different genders, places of residence and occupational status(P>0.05).The multivariate linear regression analysis showed that age≥70 years old, education level of primary school and below,no spouse, family monthly income<3000 yuan, course of disease≥5 years, dyspnea grade 2-4,activity of daily living score<60 points, complications, children as the main caregivers, and low level of mindfulness were risk factors for self-perceived burden in the elderly patients with COPD remission period(P<0.05).Conclusions:Age≥70 years old, education level of primary school and below,no spouse, family monthly income<3000 yuan, course of disease≥5 years, dyspnea grade 2-4,activity of daily living score<60 points, complications, children as the main caregivers, and low level of mindfulness are the risk factors for self-perceived burden in the elderly patients with COPD remission period
