Effects of Levosimendan injection combined with conventional drugs in treatment of patients with chronic heart failure
Objective:To observe effects of Levosimendan injection combined with conventional drugs in treatment of patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 102 patients with CHF admitted to this hospital from May 2021 to May 2023.According to the random number table method,they were divided into observation group and control group,51 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional drugs,while the observation group was treated with Levosimendan injection on the basis of that of the control group.The total effective rate,the cardiac function indexes[left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)]levels,the serum myocardial injury indexes[brain natriuretic peptide(BNP),cardiac troponin-I(cTnI),homocysteine(Hcy)]levels,the serum inflammatory factors[high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6)]levels,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 88.24%,which was higher than 72.55%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment,the LVEF levels of the two groups were higher than those before the treatment,and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group;the levels of LVEDD and serum BNP,cTnI,Hcy,hs-CRP and IL-6 in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Levosimendan injection combined with conventional drugs in the treatment of the CHF patients can improve the total effective rate of treatment,improve the levels of cardiac function indexes,and reduce the levels of myocardial injury indexes and inflammatory factors.Moreover,it is superior to single conventional drug therapy.
