Application effects of MOTOmed rehabilitation training in patients with post-stroke hemiplegia
Objective:To observe application effects of MOTOmed rehabilitation training in patients with post-stroke hemiplegia.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 92 patients with post-stroke hemiplegia admitted to the hospital from January 2020 to December 2022.According to the random number table method,they were divided into control group and observation group,46 cases in each group.Both groups were given health education.On this basis,the control group was given routine rehabilitation training,while the observation group was given the MOTOmed rehabilitation training.The limb function[Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA)]score,the walking and gait[10-m timed walking test(10 MW),Tinetti scale],the balance ability[Berg balance scale(BBS)]score,and the muscle tension(Ashworth classification)were compared between the two groups before and after the intervention.Results:After the intervention,the FMA scores of the upper and lower limbs of the two groups were higher than those before the intervention,those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of step length,maximum walking speed and step frequency as well as the Tinetti scores of the two groups were higher than those before the intervention,those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The BBS scores of the two groups were higher than those before the intervention,and that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group;the Ashworth classification of the two groups was better than that before the intervention,and that of the observation group was better than that of the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The MOTOmed rehabilitation training applied to the patients with post-stroke hemiplegia can improve the limb function and the balance ability,improve walking and gait,and reduce the muscle tension.Moreover,it is superior to the routine rehabilitation training.
