Effects of Tianshu tablets combined with Flunarizine hydrochloride capsules in treatment of migraine patients
Objective:To observe effects of Tianshu tablets combined with Flunarizine hydrochloride capsules in treatment of migraine patients.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 76 patients with migraine admitted to the hospital from March 2020 to March 2022.According to the random number table method,they were divided into study group and control group,38 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Flunarizine hydrochloride capsules,while the study group was treated with Tianshu tablets on the basis of that of the control group.The total effective rate of treatment,the migraine attack frequency,the duration of each attack,the visual analogue scale(VAS)score during attack,the serum cytokines[interleukin enhancer binding factor-1(ILF-1),calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP),endothelin-1(ET-1)]levels,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the study group was 94.74%,which was significantly higher than 76.32%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the migraine attack frequencies and the VAS scores in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group;the duration of each attack in the two groups were shorter than those before the treatment,and that in the study group was shorter than that in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of serum CGRP the two groups were higher than those before the treatment,and that in the study group was higher than that in the control group;the levels of serum ET-1 and ILF-1 in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Tianshu tablets combined with Flunarizine hydrochloride capsules can improve the total effective rate,shorten the duration of each attack,improve the levels of serum cytokines,and reduce the migraine attack frequency and the VAS scores in the treatment of the migraine patients.Moreover,it is superior to single Flunarizine hydrochloride capsules treatment.
