Effects of Changyanning granules combined with Lacidophilin dispersible tablets in treatment of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome in children
Objective:To observe effects of Changyanning granules combined with Lacidophilin dispersible tablets in treatment of diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome in children.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 150 children with diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome admitted to this hospital from February 2021 to February 2023.They were divided into control group and study group according to the random number table method,75 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Lacidophilin dispersible tablets,while the study group was treated with Changyanning granules on the basis of that of the control group.The clinical efficacy,the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome scores before and after the treatment,the T cell subsets(CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+)levels,the gastrointestinal hormone indexes(somatostatin,gastrin,motilin)levels,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the study group was 94.67%(71/75),which was higher than 81.33%(61/75)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes such as diarrhea,abdominal pain,nausea and anorexia in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,those in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ in the two groups were higher than those before the treatment,and those in the study group were higher than those in the control group;the levels of CD8+ in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,and that in the study group was lower than that in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of somatostatin in the two groups were higher than those before the treatment,and that in the study group was higher than that in the control group;the levels of gastrin and motilin in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Changyanning granules combined with Lacidophilin dispersible tablets can improve the total effective rate of treatment,improve the levels of T cell subsets and gastrointestinal hormones,and reduce the scores of TCM syndromes in the children with diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome.Moreover,it is superior to single Lacidophilin dispersible tablets treatment.
