Effects of GT-4A Doula delivery analgesia apparatus nursing at different time on delivery of primiparas
Objective:To observe effects of GT-4A Doula delivery analgesia apparatus nursing at different time on delivery of primiparas. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 125 primiparas admitted to the hospital from June 2020 to June 2022.According to the random number table method, they were divided into study group(63 cases)and control group(62 cases). The control group was given GT-4A Doula delivery analgesia apparatus when the uterine orifice opened to 2-3 cm,while the study group was given GT-4A Doula delivery analgesia apparatus when the uterine orifice opened to 1 cm.The duration of labor(the first stage of labor, the second stage of labor, the third stage of labor and the total stage of labor),the pain visual analogue scale(VAS)scores at different time points(the end of the incubation period of the first stage of labor, the end of the active period of the first stage of labor, the end of the second stage of labor),the natural delivery rate, and the maternal and infant outcomes[maternal postpartum 2 h blood loss, neonatal 5 min Apgar score, pulse oxygen saturation(SpO2)]were compared between the two groups. Results:The time of the first stage of labor, the second stage of labor, the third stage of labor and the total stage of labor in the study group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At the end of the incubation period of the first stage of labor, the end of the active period of the first stage of labor, and the end of the second stage of labor, the VAS scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The natural delivery rate of the study group was 71.43%,which was higher than 53.23%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The maternal postpartum 2 h blood loss in the study group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the neonatal 5 min Apgar score and SpO2 level in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The application of GT-4A doula delivery analgesia apparatus when the uterine orifice of the primipara is opened to 1 cm can shorten the labor time, improve the natural delivery rate, reduce the VAS scores, and improve the maternal and infant outcomes. Moreover,it is superior to the application of GT-4A doula delivery analgesia apparatus when the uterine orifice is opened to 2-3 cm.
