Effects of Magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate combined with reduced glutathione in treatment of patients with chronic viral hepatitis
Objective:To observe effects of Magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate combined with reduced glutathione in treatment of patients with chronic viral hepatitis.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 120 patients with chronic viral hepatitis admitted to the hospital from February 2021 to January 2023.According to the random number table method,they were divided into study group and control group,60 cases in each group.Both groups were given routine treatment.On this basis,the control group was treated with reduced glutathione,while the study group was treated with Magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate on the basis of that of the control group.Both groups were treated for 12 weeks.The clinical efficacy,the liver function indexes[alanine aminotransferase(ALT),total bilirubin(TBIL),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),albumin(ALB)]levels,the liver fibrosis indexes[type IV collagen(IV-C),laminin(LN),hyaluronic acid(HA)]levels,the inflammatory indexes[C-reactive protein(CRP),procalcitonin(PCT),white blood cell count(WBC)]levels before and after the treatment,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 90.00%(54/60),which was higher than 75.00%(45/60)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of TBIL,ALT and AST in the study group were lower than those in the control group,the level of ALB was higher than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of IV-C,LN,HA,CRP,PCT and WBC in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate combined with reduced glutathione in the treatment of the patients with chronic viral hepatitis can improve the total effective rate of treatment,improve the levels of liver function indexes,and reduce the levels of liver fibrosis indexes and the inflammatory indexes.Moreover,it is superior to single reduced glutathione treatment.
