Effects of Tacrolimus ointment combined with Halometasone cream in treatment of patients with neurodermatitis
Objective:To observe effects of Tacrolimus ointment combined with Halometasone cream in treatment of patients with neurodermatitis.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 150 patients with neurodermatitis admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to January 2023.According to the random number table method,they were divided into study group and control group,75 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Halometasone cream,while the study group was treated with Tacrolimus ointment on the basis of that of the control group.The total effective rate of treatment,the skin barrier function indexes[stratum corneum water content,skin elasticity index(R2)and transepidermal water loss rate(TEWL)]levels,the clinical symptoms(local skin lesions,skin itching and skin thickness)scores,the serum inflammatory factors[tumor necrosis factor-ɑ(TNF-ɑ),interleukin(IL)-1β,IL-6]levels,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the study group was 92.00%,which was significantly higher than 80.00%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the stratum corneum water content and the R2 level in the study group were higher than those in the control group;the clinical symptom scores of local skin lesions,skin itching and skin thickness and the levels of TEWL,TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6 in the study group were lower than those in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Tacrolimus ointment combined with Halometasone cream in the treatment of the patients with neurodermatitis can improve the total effective rate of treatment,improve the levels of skin barrier function indexes,and reduce the clinical symptom scores and the inflammatory factor levels.Moreover,it is superior to single Halometasone cream treatment.
