Effects of Danhong injection combined with Aminophylline in treatment of patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease complicated with respiratory failure
Objective:To observe effects of Danhong injection combined with Aminophylline in treatment of chronic pulmonary heart disease(cor pulmonale)with respiratory failure.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 92 patients with chronic cor pulmonale and respiratory failure admitted to the hospital from January 2019 to January 2023.According to the random number table method,they were divided into study group and control group,46 cases in each group.Both groups were given routine treatment.On this basis,the control group was treated with Aminophylline,while the study group was treated with Danhong injection on the basis of that of the control group.The blood gas indexes[arterial oxygen partial pressure(PaO2),blood oxygen saturation(SpO2)]levels,the cardiopulmonary function indexes[left ventricular end systolic diameter(LVESD),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),forced expiratory flow rate in 50%vital capacity(PEF50%),total lung capacity(TLC)]levels,the natriuretic peptide(BNP)level,the homocysteine(Hcy)level,and the quality of life[36-item health survey(SF-36)]score were compared between the two groups before and after the treatment.Results:After the treatment,the levels of PaO2 and SpO2 in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of LVESD and TLC in the study group were lower than those in the control group,the levels of LVEF and PEF50%were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of BNP and Hcy in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,after the treatment,the SF-36 scores of mental health,vitality,social function and physiological function in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Danhong injection combined with Aminophylline in the treatment of the patients with chronic cor pulmonale and respiratory failure can improve the levels of blood gas indexes and the quality of life scores,improve the levels of cardiopulmonary function indexes,and reduce the levels of BNP and Hcy.Moreover,it is superior to single Aminophylline treatment.
