Objective:To observe effects of Wubeizi decoction fumigation combined with thermal design power(TDP)irradiation in treatment of postoperative patients with circular mixed hemorrhoids.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 86 patients with circumferential mixed hemorrhoids who were admitted to the hospital from December 2020 to December 2021.According to the random number table method,they were divided into observation group and control group,43 cases in each group.The control group was treated with TDP irradiation,while the observation group was treated with Wubeizi decoction fumigation on the basis of that of the control group.Both groups were treated for 7 d.The clinical efficacy,the clinical related indicators(wound edema disappearance time,wound healing time,hospitalization time),the clinical symptoms(wound pain,anal edema,anal bleeding)scores at different time after the surgery(1,3,7 d after the surgery),and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.67%(42/43),which was higher than 79.07%(34/43)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The wound edema disappearance time,the wound healing time and the hospitalization time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).3 d and 7 d after the surgery,the scores of clinical symptoms such as wound pain,anal edema and anal bleeding in the two groups were lower than those on the 1 d after the surgery,those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Wubeizi decoction fumigation combined with TDP irradiation in the treatment of the postoperative patients with circular mixed hemorrhoids can improve the total effective rate of treatment,improve the levels of clinical related indicators,and reduce the clinical symptom scores.Moreover,it is superior to single TDP irradiation.
