Efficiency of combined detection of CEA,CA19-9,CA125 and CA72-4 levels in diagnosis of rectal cancer
Objective:To observe efficiency of combined detection of carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),carbohydrate antigen 19-9(CA19-9),carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125)and carbohydrate antigen 72-4(CA72-4)levels in diagnosis of rectal cancer. Methods:The clinical data of 78 patients with rectal cancer admitted to this hospital from February 2021 to May 2023 were retrospectively analyzed and they were as rectal cancer group. The clinical data of 100 patients with benign rectal tumors(55 cases of rectal adenoma and 45 cases of rectal dysplasia)admitted to this hospital during the same period were retrospectively analyzed and they were used as non-rectal cancer group. The levels of CEA,CA19-9,CA125 and CA72-4 were compared between the two groups. The levels of CEA,CA19-9,CA125 and CA72-4 in the patients with different rectal tumors(rectal cancer, rectal adenoma and rectal dysplasia)were compared. The efficiencies(sensitivity, specificity, accuracy)of single and combined detection of CEA,CA19-9,CA125 and CA72-4 levels in the diagnosis of rectal cancer were analyzed. Results:The levels of serum CEA,CA19-9,CA125 and CA72-4 in the rectal cancer group were higher than those in the non-rectal cancer group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were significant differences in the levels of CEA,CA19-9,CA125 and CA72-4 in the patients with different rectal tumors(P<0.05).The accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of combined detection of CEA,CA19-9,CA125 and CA72-4 levels in the diagnosis of rectal cancer were higher than those of single detection of the four, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The efficiency of combined detection of CEA,CA19-9,CA125 and CA72-4 levels in the diagnosis of rectal cancer is higher than those of the four single detections.
