Comparison of effects of intravitreal injection of Conbercept and Triamcinolone acetonide on patients with diabetic retinopathy
Objective:To compare effects of intravitreal injection of Conbercept and Triamcinolone acetonide on patients with diabetic retinopathy.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 88 patients with diabetic retinopathy admitted to this hospital from August 2019 to August 2022.According to the random number table method,they were divided into control group(n=44,77 eyes)and study group(n=44,88 eyes).The control group was treated with intravitreal injection of Triamcinolone acetonide,while the study group was treated with intravitreal injection of Conbercept.The best corrected visual acuity(BCVA)level,the visual function index[central macular thickness(CMT),macular foveal avascular zone(FAZ)]levels,the intraocular fluid index[nitric oxide synthase(NOS),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)]levels,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before and after the treatment.Results:After 1 and 3 months of treatment,the levels of BVCA in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 3 months of treatment,the levels of CMT and FAZ in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 3 months of treatment,the level of NOS in the intraocular fluid of the study group was higher than that of the control group,the level of VEGF was lower than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 6.82%(3/44),which was lower than 22.73%(10/44)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Intravitreal injection of Conbercept in the treatment of the patients with diabetic retinopathy can improve the visual acuity and the levels of the visual function indexes and the intraocular fluid indexes,and has good safety.Moreover,it is superior to intravitreal injection of Triamcinolone acetonide.
