Correlations among serum IgA,IgG,IgM,complement C3 levels and severity of patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome
Objective:To analyze correlations among immunoglobulin(Ig)A,IgG,IgM,complement C3 levels and severity of patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS).Methods:141 patients with ARDS admitted to this hospital from March 2020 to March 2023 were selected as the study subjects and included in the study group. At the same time,141 healthy subjects in this hospital were selected as the control group. Both groups were tested for serological indicators. The severity of the ARDS patients was evaluated. The levels of serum IgA,IgG,IgM and complement C3 were compared between the two groups and the ARDS patients with different severities.Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlations among the serum IgA,IgG,IgM,complement C3 levels and the severity of the ARDS patients. Results:The levels of serum IgM,IgG,IgA and complement C3 in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of serum IgA,IgG,IgM and complement C3 in the patients with severe ARDS were lower than those in the patients with mild and moderate ARDS,those in the patients with moderate ARDS were lower than those in the patients with mild ARDS,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that the serum IgA,IgG,IgM and complement C3 levels were negatively correlated with the severity of the ARDS patients(r<0,P<0.05).Conclusions:The serum IgA,IgG,IgM and complement C3 levels are negatively correlated with the severity of the ARDS patients.
