Application effects of Phloroglucinol combined with Oxytocin in induced labor of full-term pregnant women
Objective:To observe application effects of Phloroglucinol combined with Oxytocin in induced labor of full-term pregnant women.Methods:The clinical data of 80 full-term pregnant women who needed induced labor in this hospital from January 2021 to October 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into observation group and control group,40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Oxytocin,while the observation group was treated with Phloroglucinol on the basis of that of the control group.The cervical ripeness score,the labor pain degree[visual analogue scale(VAS)]scores,the stress index[cortisol(Cor),catecholamine(CA)]levels,the stage of labor,the delivery mode,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:After 12 hours of treatment,the Bishop scores of the two groups were higher than those before treatment,that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The VAS scores of cervical dilatation at 3 cm,6 cm and full opening in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After delivery,the levels of Cor and CA in the two groups were lower than those before delivery,those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The first,second and third stages of labor in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The natural delivery rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the cesarean section rate was lower than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Phloroglucinol combined with Oxytocin in induced labor of the full-term pregnant women can improve the cervical ripeness scores and the natural delivery rate,shorten the stage of labor,and reduce the VAS scores,the stress index levels and the cesarean section rate.Moreover,it is superior to single Oxytocin treatment.
