Effects of Dachaihu decoction combined with Fenofibrate in treatment of patients with hyperlipidemia
Objective:To observe effects of Dachaihu decoction combined with Fenofibrate in treatment of patients with hyperlipidemia.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 60 patients with hyperlipidemia admitted to the hospital from May 2021 to March 2023.According to the random number table method,they were divided into control group and study group,30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Fenofibrate,while the study group was treated with Dachaihu decoction on the basis of that of the control group.The clinical efficacy,the blood lipid indexes[total cholesterol(TC),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)and triglyceride(TG)]levels,the inflammatory factors[cystatin C(CysC),homocysteine(Hcy),C-reactive protein(CRP)and procalcitonin(PCT)]levels,the incidence of adverse reactions,and the serum adiponectin(APN)levels were compared between the two groups before and after the treatment.Results:The total effective rate of the study group was 93.33%(28/30),which was higher than 73.33%(22/30)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of TC,TG and LDL-C in the study group were lower than those in the control group,the level of HDL-C was higher than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of CysC,Hcy,CRP and PCT in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).After the treatment,the serum APN levels of the two groups were higher than those before the treatment,that in the study group was higher than,that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Dachaihu decoction combined with Fenofibrate in the treatment of the patients with hyperlipidemia can improve the total effective rate of treatment and the serum APN levels,improve the levels of blood lipid indexes,and reduce the levels of inflammatory factors.Moreover,it is superior to single Fenofibrate treatment.
