Effects of Kuntai capsules combined with Goserelin in treatment of patients with moderate to severe endometriosis after laparoscopic surgery
Objective:To observe effects of Kuntai capsules combined with Goserelin in treatment of patients with moderate to severe endometriosis(EMT)after laparoscopic surgery.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 106 patients with moderate to severe EMT who underwent laparoscopic surgery in this hospital from April 2020 to April 2023.They were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method,53 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Goserelin after the surgery,while the observation group was treated with Kuntai capsules on the basis of that of the control group.Both groups were treated for 3 months.The clinical efficacy,the levels of sex hormone[follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),estradiol(E2),luteinizing hormone(LH)],uterine artery hemodynamics indexes[peak systolic blood flow velocity(PSV),end diastolic blood flow velocity(EDV),resistance index(RI)]and inflammatory indexes[soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1(sICAM-1),matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)]before and after the treatment,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 94.34%(50/53),which was higher than 73.58%(39/53)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of FSH,E2 and LSH in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of PSV and EDV in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the level of RI was lower than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of sICAM-1,MMP-9 and TNF-α in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Kuntai capsules combined with Goserelin in the treatment of the patients with moderate to severe EMT after laparoscopic surgery can improve the total effective rate of treatment,reduce the levels of sex hormone and inflammatory indexes,and improve the levels of uterine artery hemodynamics indexes.Moreover,it is superior to single Goserelin treatment.
