Application effects of cognitive behavioral nursing combined with early nutritional support in patients with laryngeal cancer undergoing total laryngectomy
Objective:To observe application effects of cognitive behavioral nursing combined with early nutritional support in patients with laryngeal cancer undergoing total laryngectomy. Methods:The clinical data of 62 patients with laryngeal cancer who underwent total laryngectomy in this hospital from February 2021 to August 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different nursing methods, they were divided into observation group and control group,31 cases in each group. The control group was given early nutritional support, while the observation group was combined with cognitive behavioral nursing on the basis of that of the control group. The scores of psychological resilience[Connor-Davidson resilience scale(CD-RISC)],health behavior[health promoting lifestyle profile-II(HPLP-II)]and self-management ability[exercise of self-care agency scale(ESCA)]were compared between the two groups before and after the nursing. Results:After the nursing, the CD-RISC score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing, the HPLP-II scores of health responsibility, interpersonal relationship, healthy growth, nutrition, stress management and exercise in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,after the nursing, the ESCA scores of health knowledge level,self-concept,self-responsibility and self-care skills in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Cognitive behavioral nursing combined with early nutritional support can improve the scores of psychological resilience, health behavior and self-management ability in the patients with laryngeal cancer undergoing total laryngectomy. Moreover,it is superior to single early nutritional support.
