Investigation on cognitive level and vaccination willingness of human papilloma virus vaccine in gynecological outpatients
Objective:To investigate cognition level and vaccination willingness of human papilloma virus(HPV)vaccine in gynecological outpatients.Methods:A cross-sectional study was conducted on 538 patients who underwent HPV detection in the gynecological clinic of the hospital from August 2021 to August 2023.All of them were examined for HPV.The questionnaire survey was performed to investigate the patients'HPV-related knowledge and vaccination willingness.Results:A total of 121 HPV positive cases were detected in the 538 gynecological outpatients,with a total infection rate of 22.49%(121/538).Among them,the infection rate of the patients with age≥56 years was the highest,which was 35.59%.The proportion of the patients with moderate awareness of HPV,HPV vaccine and disease caused by HPV infection was the highest,which was 59.81%,60.95%and 41.71%,respectively.The willingness of HPV vaccination in the patients with moderate level was the highest,accounting for 59.05%(310/525).The vaccine safety and efficacy accounted for the highest proportion of the patients'HPV vaccination willingness,which was 35.24%(185/525).Conclusions:The cognitive level of HPV vaccine and the vaccination willingness in the gynecological outpatients are at a medium level.
