Effects of Qinghua Fugan decoction combined with compound Glycyrrhizin injection on liver injury in patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia after chemotherapy
Objective:To observe effects of Qinghua Fugan decoction combined with compound Glycyrrhizin injection in treatment of liver injury in patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia(APL)after chemotherapy.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 152 APL patients with liver injury after chemotherapy admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to January 2022.According to the random number table method,they were divided into control group and study group,76 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with Tretinoin combined with Arsenite chemotherapy.The control group was treated with compound Glycyrrhizin injection for liver protection,while the study group was treated with Qinghua Fugan decoction on the basis of that of the control group.The clinical efficacy,the levels of serum inflammatory factors[high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6)],the liver function indexes[alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST)],cellular immune indexes(CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+)before and after the treatment,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of the study group was 98.68%(75/76),which was higher than 86.84%(66/76)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of serum hs-CRP,IL-6,AST,ALT and CD8+ in the study group were lower than those in the control group,the levels of CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Qinghua Fugan decoction combined with compound Glycyrrhizin injection has a significant effect on the patients with liver injury after APL chemotherapy,which can reduce the levels of ATL,AST,hs-CRP and IL-6,and improve the levels of cellular immune indexes.Moreover,it is superior to single compound Glycyrrhizin injection treatment.
