Correlations among ultrasonic left ventricular pressure-strain loop parameters and left ventricular systolic function in patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction after interventional therapy
Objective:To analyze correlations among left ventricular pressure-strain loop parameters and left ventricular systolic function in patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI)after interventional therapy. Methods:The clinical data of 53 patients with STEMI admitted to this hospital from January 2020 to June 2022 were retrospectively analyzed, and they were set as the observation group, and the clinical data of 46 healthy subjects during the same period were retrospectively analyzed, and they were set as the control group.Ultrasound left ventricular pressure-strain loop examination was performed in both groups. The levels of left ventricular systolic function indexes[left ventricular end-diastolic volume(LVEDV),left ventricular end-systolic volume(LVESV),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)],left ventricular pressure-strain ring parameters[global work index(GWI),global useful work(GCW),global useless work(GWW),global work efficiency(GWE)]were compared between the two groups.Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlations among the left ventricular pressure-strain loop parameters and left ventricular systolic function in the STEMI patients after interventional therapy. Results:The levels of LVEDV and LVESV in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the level of LVEF was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of GWI,GCW and GWE in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the level of GWW was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that the GWI,GCW and GWE levels were negatively correlated with the LVEDV and LVESV levels(r<0,P<0.05),the GWW level was positively correlated with the LVEDV and LVESV levels(r>0,P<0.05),the GWI,GCW and GWE levels were positively correlated with the LVEF level(r>0,P<0.05),and the GWW level was negatively correlated with the LVEF level(r<0,P<0.05).Conclusions:The levels of GWI,GCW and GWE are negatively correlated with the LVEDV and LVESV,the GWW level was positively correlated with the LVEDV and LVESV levels, the GWI,GCW and GWE levels are positively correlated with the LVEF level, and the GWW level is negatively correlated with the LVEF level.
