Effects of integrated medical and nursing on postoperative patients with colon cancer
Objective:To observe effects of integrated medical and nursing on postoperative patients with colon cancer.Methods:32 postoperative patients with colon cancer who received routine care in this hospital from June 2020 to May 2021 were selected as the control group;33 patients with colon cancer who received integrated nursing care in this hospital from June 2021 to May 2022 were selected as the observation group. The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group was treated with integrated medical and nursing. The first exhaust time, the normal diet recovery time, the hospitalization time, the Herth hope index(HHI)score, the visual analogue scale(VAS)score, the nursing compliance rate, and the strategies used by people to promote health(SUPPH)score were compared between the two groups. Results:The first exhaust time, the normal diet recovery time and the hospitalization time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing, the HHI score and SUPPH score of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, the VAS score was lower than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the nursing compliance rate of the observation group was 96.97%,which was significantly higher than 71.88%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The integrated medical and nursing in the postoperative patients with colon cancer can shorten the first exhaust time, the normal diet recovery time and the hospitalization time, improve the HHI score, the SUPPH score and the nursing compliance rate, and reduce the VAS score. Moreover,it is superior to the routine nursing.
