Application effects of family-centered nursing in premature infants
Objective:To observe application effects of family-centered nursing in premature infants. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 78 premature infants admitted to the hospital from October 2018 to December 2020.According to the random number table method, they were divided into observation group and control group,39 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given the family-centered nursing on the basis of that of the control group. The levels of growth and development indexes(body weight, body length, head circumference)and nutritional indexes[prealbumin(PA),albumin(ALB),transferrin(TRF)]before and after the nursing, the nursing satisfaction, and the incidence of adverse events were compared between the two groups. Results:After the nursing, the body weight, body length and head circumference of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing, the levels of TRF,PA and ALB in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 97.44%(38/39),which was higher than 79.49%(31/39)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the incidence of adverse events in the observation group was 10.26%(4/39),which was lower than 28.21%(11/39)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The family-centered nursing in the premature infants can improve the levels of growth and development indexes, the levels of nutritional indexes and the nursing satisfaction, and reduce the incidence of adverse events. Moreover,it is superior to the routine nursing.
