Effects of Pranoprofen eye drops combined with Tobramycin dexamethasone eye drops in treatment of patients after cataract surgery
Objective:To observe effects of Pranoprofen eye drops combined with Tobramycin dexamethasone eye drops in treatment of patients after cataract surgery. Methods:The clinical data of 84 patients with cataract surgery admitted to this hospital from June 2021 to May 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. They were divided into control group and study group according to different treatment options,42 cases in each. The control group was treated with Tobramycin dexamethasone eye drops, while the study group was treated with Pranoprofen eye drops on the basis of that of the control group. The levels of ocular rehabilitation indexes(dry eye symptoms, anterior chamber flare value, intraocular pressure),the lacrimal gland and tear film indexes[the Schirmer test(SIT),tear film break-up time(BUT),corneal fluorescein staining score(FL)]and tear inflammatory factors[high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)],and the incidence of postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results:After the treatment, the scores of dry eye symptoms, anterior chamber flash value and intraocular pressure in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment, those in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of SIT and BUT in the two groups were higher than those before the treatment, and those in the study group were higher than those in the control group;the FL scores of the two groups were lower than those before the treatment, and that in the study group was lower than that in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of hs-CRP,IL-6 and TNF-α in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment, those in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the incidence of complications in the study group was 4.76%,which was lower than 19.05%in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Pranoprofen eye drops combined with Tobramycin dexamethasone eye drops in the treatment of the patients after cataract surgery can improve the levels of lacrimal gland and tear film indexes and reduce the levels of eye rehabilitation indexes, the levels of tear inflammatory factors and the incidence of complications. Moreover,it is superior to single Tobramycin dexamethasone eye drops treatment.
