Application effects of pain nursing combined with early rehabilitation exercise in patients with post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome
Objective:To observe application effects of pain nursing combined with early rehabilitation exercise in patients with post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome(SHS).Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 106 patients with post-stroke SHS admitted to this hospital from September 2020 to September 2022.According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and study group,53 cases in each group. The control group was given early rehabilitation exercise, while the study group was combined with pain nursing on the basis of that of the control group. The pain degree[visual analogue scale(VAS)]score, the swelling degree(MRC)score, the motor function[Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment scale(FMA)]score, shoulder joint range of motion, the shoulder hand isokinetic muscle strength, and the quality of life[general quality of life inventory-74(GQOLI-74)]score were compared between the two groups before and after the nursing. Results:After the nursing, the MRC and VAS scores of the two groups were lower than those before the nursing, and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group;the FMA scores of the two groups were higher than those before the nursing, and that in the study group was higher than that in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The shoulder abduction and flexion range of motion of the two groups were higher than those before the nursing, those in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The AP and PT levels of shoulder and hand in the two groups were higher than those before the nursing, those in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the GQOLI-74 scores of the two groups were higher than those before the intervention, that in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The pain nursing combined with early rehabilitation exercise in the patients with SHS can reduce the degree of limb swelling and pain, improve the shoulder joint range of motion and the shoulder hand isokinetic muscle strength, improve the upper limb motor function, and improve the quality of life of these patients. Moreover,it is superior to single early rehabilitation exercise.
