Effects of modified Shenghua decoction in treatment of patients after induced abortion
Objective:To observe effects of modified Shenghua decoction in treatment of patients after induced abortion.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 82 patients with early induced abortion admitted to the hospital from June 2022 to June 2023.According to the random number table method,they were divided into control group and observation group,41 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,while the observation group was treated with modified Shenghua decoction on the basis of that of the control group.The clinical efficacy,the clinical indicators(menstrual recovery time,vaginal bleeding volume,vaginal bleeding time,endometrial thickness)levels,the TCM syndrome scores before and after the treatment,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 100.00%(41/41),which was higher than 85.37%(35/41)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The menstrual recovery time,the vaginal bleeding time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,the vaginal bleeding volume was less than that in the control group,and the the endometrial thickness at 2 weeks after surgery of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 4.88%(2/41),which was lower than 19.51%(8/41)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:On the basis of the conventional western medicine treatment,modified Shenghua decoction can improve the total effective rate of treatment,improve the levels of clinical indicators,and reduce the scores of TCM syndromes and the incidence of adverse reactions in the patients after induced abortion.Moreover,it is superior to single conventional western medicine treatment.
