Application effects of perioperative nursing based on evidence-based support in patients with colorectal cancer surgery
Objective:To observe application effects of perioperative nursing based on evidence-based support in patients with colorectal cancer surgery. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 88 patients with colorectal cancer admitted to the hospital from October 2020 to October 2022.They were divided into control group and observation group by using the random number table method,44 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given the perioperative nursing based on evidence-based support. The scores of negative emotions[patient health questionnaire(PHQ-9)and generalized anxiety disorder(GAD-7)],the pain degree[numerical rating scale(NRS)],the postoperative rehabilitation index levels, the postoperative incidence of complications, and the nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups before and after the nursing. Results:After the nursing, the scores of PHQ-9 and GAD-7 in the two groups were lower than those before the nursing, those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The NRS scores of the two groups were lower than those before the nursing, that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The first out-of-bed time, the first anal exhaust time, the first dieting time and the hospitalization time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The perioperative nursing based on evidence-based support in the patients with colorectal cancer surgery can improve the nursing satisfaction, shorten the recovery time, and reduce the negative emotion scores, the postoperative pain score and the incidence of complications. Moreover,it is superior to the routine nursing.
