Application effects of operating room nursing based on root cause analysis in patients with non-small cell lung cancer surgery
Objective:To observe application effects of operating room nursing based on root cause analysis in patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)surgery. Methods:The clinical data of 96 patients with NSCLC admitted to this hospital from October 2020 to September 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different nursing methods, they were divided into control group and observation group,48 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine operating room nursing, while the observation group was treated with the operating room nursing based on root cause analysis. The levels of operation-related indexes and stress response indexes[cortisol(Cor),angiotensin II(Ang-II)]before and after the surgery, the incidence of adverse events during the surgery, and the nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:The drainage tube extubation time and the recovery time of spontaneous breathing in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the operation time between the two groups(P>0.05).At 24 h after the surgery, the levels of Cor and Ang-II in the two groups were higher than those before the surgery, but those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse events in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 97.92%,which was higher than 83.33%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The operating room nursing based on root cause analysis in the patients with NSCLC surgery can improve the nursing satisfaction, shorten the drainage tube extubation time and the recovery time of spontaneous breathing, and reduce the levels of stress response indexes and the incidence of intraoperative adverse events. Moreover,it is superior to the routine operating room nursing.
