Value of combined detection of serum CysLTs,CCL11 and IL-10 levels in evaluation of severity of bronchiolitis in children
Objective:To observe value of combined detection of serum cysteinyl leukotrienes(CysLTs),CC chemokine ligand 11(CCL11)and interleukin-10(IL-10)levels in evaluation of the severity of bronchiolitis in children. Methods:From January 2021 to January 2023,admitted to Jinshui District General Hospital of Zhengzhou City 72 children with bronchiolitis(20 children with severe bronchiolitis and 52 children with mild to moderate bronchiolitis)were selected for the cross-sectional study and they were set as the study group.A total of 72 healthy children in the same period were selected for the cross-sectional study and they were set as the control group. The levels of serum CysLTs,CCL11 and IL-10 were compared between the two groups and the children with different severities in the study group.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to analyze the value of single and combined detection of serum CysLTs,CCL11 and IL-10 levels in the evaluation of the severity of bronchiolitis in the children. Results:The levels of serum CysLTs and CCL11 in the study group were higher than those in the control group, the level of IL-10 was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of serum CysLTs and CCL11 in the severe children in the study group were higher than those in the mild to moderate children, the level of IL-10 was lower than that in the mild to moderate children, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve of single and combined detection of serum CysLTs,CCL11 and IL-10 levels in the evaluation of the children with bronchiolitis were 0.765,0.789,0.781 and 0.932,respectively.The value of combined detection in the evaluation of the severity of the children with bronchiolitis was higher than that of single detection. Conclusions:The value of combined detection of serum CysLTs,CCL11 and IL-10 levels in the evaluation of the severity of bronchiolitis in the children is higher than that of single detection of the three.
