Application effects of goal-oriented health education in patients with chronic heart failure
Objective:To observe application effects of goal-oriented health education in patients with chronic heart failure. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 86 patients with chronic heart failure admitted to the hospital from September 2020 to September 2021.According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group,43 cases in each group. The control group was given routine health education, while the observation group was given the goal-oriented health education. The scores of negative emotion[self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS)],coping style[medical coping mode questionnaire(MCMQ)]and quality of life[the MOS 36-item short form health survey(SF-36)]were compared between the two groups before and after the intervention. Results:After the intervention, the scores of SAS and SDS in the two groups were lower than those before the intervention, those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The facing scores of the two groups were higher than those before the intervention, and that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group;the avoidance and yield scores of the two groups were lower than those before the intervention, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the SF-36 scores of physiological function, physiological role, body pain, general health status, vitality, social function, emotional function and mental health in the two groups were higher than those before the intervention, those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The goal-oriented health education in the patients with chronic heart failure can alleviate the negative emotions and the disease coping styles and improve the quality of life. Moreover,it is superior to single routine health education.
