Application effects of multi-dimensional continuous nursing based on RED model in patients with diabetic retinopathy
Objective:To observe application effects of multi-dimensional continuous nursing based on redesigning discharge(RED)model in patients with diabetic retinopathy(DR).Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 98 patients with DR admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to July 2022.According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group,49 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given the multi-dimensional continuous nursing based on the RED model. The nursing compliance, the self-management ability[adult health self-management skill for reliability scale(AHSMSRS)]score, and the visual function related quality of life[visual function related quality of life scale(VFQ-25)]score were compared between the two groups before and after the nursing. Results:After 1 and 3 months of nursing, the nursing compliance scores of the two groups were higher than those before the nursing, those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing, the AHSMSRS scores of the two groups were higher than those before the nursing, that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the VFQ-25 scores of the two groups were higher than those before the nursing, that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The multi-dimensional continuous nursing based on the RED model in the DR patients can improve patients'nursing compliance and the self-management ability, and improve the levels of visual function. Moreover,it is superior to the routine nursing.
