Effects of Growth hormone combined with Estrogen in treatment of postoperative patients with severe intrauterine adhesions
Objective:To observe effects of Growth hormone combined with Estrogen in treatment of postoperative patients with severe intrauterine adhesions. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 80 patients with severe intrauterine adhesions admitted to the hospital from July 2020 to October 2023.According to the lottery method, they were divided into control group and observation group,40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Estrogen, while the observation group was treated with Growth hormone on the basis of that of the control group. The clinical efficacy, the endometrial thickness, the inflammatory factors[high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-1β(IL-1β)]levels before and after the treatment, the incidence of re-adhesion,the success rate of trial pregnancy, and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 85.00%(34/40),which was higher than 65.00%(26/40)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment, the endometrial thickness of the observation group was greater than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment, the levels of IL-1β,TNF-α and hs-CRP in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of re-adhesion in the observation group was 10.00%(4/40),which was lower than 30.00%(12/40)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The success rate of trial pregnancy in the observation group was 37.50%(15/40),which was higher than 17.50%(7/40)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Growth hormone combined with Estrogen in the treatment of the patients with severe intrauterine adhesions can improve the total effective rate of treatment and the success rate of trial pregnancy, improve the endometrial thickness, and reduce the levels of inflammatory factors and the incidence of re-adhesion.Moreover,it is superior to single Estrogen therapy.
