Efficiency of combined detection of serum CK-MB,IL-6 and LDH levels in diagnosis of chronic heart failure
Objective:To analyze efficiency of combined detection of serum creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB),interleukin-6(IL-6)and lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)levels in diagnosis of chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods:A cross-sectional study was conducted on 83 patients with CHF admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to January 2023,and they were set as the study group.According to whether major cardiovascular adverse events occurred, they were divided into 18 patients with poor prognosis and 65 patients with good prognosis. In addition,83 healthy volunteers who underwent physical examination in the hospital during the same period were selected as the control group. The levels of serum CK-MB,IL-6 and LDH were compared between the two groups and among the patients with different cardiac function classifications and different prognosis.Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlations among the serum CK-MB,IL-6,LDH levels and the cardiac function classification in the CHF patients. The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was drawn to analyze the efficiencies of single and combined detection of serum CK-MB,IL-6 and LDH levels in the diagnosis of the CHF patients 1 month after the treatment. Results:The levels of serum CK-MB,IL-6 and LDH in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The comparison of the levels of serum CK-MB,IL-6 and LDH in the CHF patients with different cardiac function classifications showed that:classification Ⅱ<classification Ⅲ<classification Ⅳ,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that the serum CK-MB,IL-6 and LDH levels were positively correlated with the CHF patients cardiac function classification(r>0,P<0.05).One month after the treatment, the levels of serum CK-MB,IL-6 and LDH in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment, those in the patients with poor prognosis were higher than those in the patients with good prognosis, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve of single and combined detection of serum CK-MB,IL-6 and LDH levels in the diagnosis of poor prognosis of CHF was 0.788,0.769,0.760 and 0.906,respectively,and the efficiency of combined detection in the diagnosis of poor prognosis of CHF was higher than that of single detection. Conclusions:The efficiency of combined detection of serum CK-MB,IL-6 and LDH levels in the diagnosis of CHF is higher than that of single detection of the three.
