Application effects of modern nursing methods in perioperative nursing of patients with secretory otitis media
Objective:To observe application effects of modern nursing methods in perioperative nursing of patients with secretory otitis media.Methods:The clinical data of 78 patients with secretory otitis media admitted to the Henan provincial third people's hospital from January 2020 to June 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the different perioperative nursing methods,they were divided into control group and observation group,39 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,while the observation group received the modern nursing methods.The hearing index levels,the psychological state[depression anxiety stress scale Chinese simplified edition(DASS-21)]score,comfort[general comfort questionnaire(GCQ)]score before and after the nursing,and the incidence of complications 1 week after the surgery were compared between the two groups.Results:After the nursing,the air conduction threshold and the bone conduction threshold of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The hearing improvement time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing,the DASS-21 scores of depression,anxiety and stress in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing,the GCQ scores of physiology,psychology,environment and social culture in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was 5.13%(2/39),which was lower than 20.51%(8/39)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The modern nursing methods in the perioperative nursing of the patients with secretory otitis media can improve the comfort scores and reduce the levels of hearing indexes,the psychological state scores and the incidence of postoperative complications.Moreover,it is superior to the routine nursing.
