Application effects of 3S2E nursing mode in patients with chronic wounds
Objective:To observe application effects of 3S2E nursing mode in patients with chronic wounds.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 88 patients with chronic wounds admitted to this hospital from February 2022 to February 2023.According to the lottery method,they were divided into control group and observation group,44 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing,while the observation group was given the 3S2E nursing mode on the basis of that of the control group.Both groups were treated until 1 month after discharge.The number of dressing changes,the wound healing time,the self-care ability[exercise of self-care agency scale(ESCA)]score,the comfort[visual analogue scale(VAS)]score,the quality of life[Nottingham health profile(NHP)]score before and after the nursing,and the nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results:The number of dressing changes in the observation group was less than that in the control group,the wound healing time was shorter than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing,the ESCA score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the nursing,the scores of NHP dimensions such as physical activity,pain,vitality,social life,emotional reaction and sleep in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 97.73%(43/44),which was higher than 79.55%(35/44)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The 3S2E nursing model in the patients with chronic wounds can improve self-care ability score,the quality of life scoreand the nursing satisfaction,reduce the number of dressing changes during nursing,shorten the wound healing time and improve the comfort.Moreover,it is superior to the routine nursing.
