Application effects of parental participation in early rehabilitation training in children with psychomotor retardation
Objective:To observe application effects of parental participation in early rehabilitation training in children with psychomotor retardation. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 96 children with psychomotor retardation admitted to this hospital from July 2022 to June 2023.According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and study group,48 cases in each group. The control group was given routine rehabilitation training, while the study group was given the parental participation early rehabilitation training on the basis of that of the control group. The clinical efficacy, the psychomotor retardation score, and the motor function score were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of the study group was 95.83%(40/48),which was higher than 83.33%(46/48)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the intervention, the developmental quotient(DQ)scores of the two groups were higher than those before the intervention, that in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the scores of gross motor development quotient(GMQ),fine motor development quotient(FMQ),and overall motor development quotient(TMQ)in the two groups were higher than those before the intervention, those in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The parental participation early rehabilitation training in the children with psychomotor retardation can improve the total effective rate of treatment, the psychomotor retardation scores and the motor function scores. Moreover,it is superior to single routine rehabilitation training.
