Effects of Yiqi Yangxin decoction combined with Benazepril in treatment of patients with chronic heart failure
Objective:To observe effects of Yiqi Yangxin decoction combined with Benazepril in treatment of patients with chronic heart failure.Methods:The clinical data of 65 patients with chronic heart failure admitted to this hospital from November 2021 to September 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into control group(n=32)and observation group(n=33).Both groups were given routine treatment.On this basis,the control group was treated with Benazepril,while the observation group was treated with Yiqi Yangxin decoction on the basis of that of the control group.The clinical efficacy,the cardiac function indexes[left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)]levels,the inflammatory factors[interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)]levels,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before and 1 month after the treatment.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.94%(31/33),which was higher than 68.75%(22/32)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of LVESD and LVEDD in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group;the levels of LVEF in the two groups were higher than those before the treatment,and that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of TNF-α and IL-6 in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Yiqi Yangxin decoction combined with Benazepril in the treatment of the patients with chronic heart failure can improve the clinical efficacy,improve the cardiac function and reduce the body's inflammatory response.Moreover,it is superior to single Benazepril treatment.
