Effects of Weiyangning pills combined with Rebamipide in treatment of patients with active gastric ulcer
Objective:To observe effects of Weiyangning pills combined with Rebamipide in treatment of patients with active gastric ulcer.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 80 patients with active gastric ulcer admitted to the hospital from 2018 to 2022.According to the random number table method,they were divided into control group and observation group,40 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Rebamipide,while the observation group was treated with Weiyangning pills on the basis of that of the control group.The clinical efficacy,the TCM syndrome scores,the inflammatory factors[C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-8(IL-8),procalcitonin(PCT)]levels,the gastrointestinal hormones[gastrin(GAS),somatostatin(SS)]levels,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before and after the treatment.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 95.00%(38/40),which was higher than 75.00%(30/40)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes such as epigastric pain,belching,loss of appetite and acid reflux in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of CRP,IL-8 and PCT in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of GAS and SS in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Weiyangning pills combined with Rebamipide in the treatment of the patients with active gastric ulcer can improve the clinical efficacy,reduce the TCM syndrome scores,reduce the body's inflammatory response,and improve the levels of gastrointestinal hormones.Moreover,it is superior to single Rebamipide treatment.
