Effects of Fuke Qianjin capsules combined with Clotrimazole in treatment of patients with vulvovaginal candidiasis
Objective:To observe effects of Fuke Qianjin capsules combined with Clotrimazole in treatment of patients with vulvovaginal candidiasis(VVC).Methods:The clinical data of 72 patients with VVC admitted to this hospital from May 2022 to April 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into observation group(n=36)and control group(n=36).The control group was treated with Clotrimazole,while the observation group was treated with Fuke Qianjin capsules on the basis of that of the control group.The disappearance time of clinical symptoms,the disease severity(Nugent score),the vaginal microecological index levels,the incidence of adverse reactions,and the recurrence rate were compared between the two groups before and after the treatment.Results:The disappearance time of clinical symptoms such as leucorrhea abnormality,vulva pruritus,urination pain,waist and abdomen pain in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the Nugent scores of the two groups were lower than those before the treatment,that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The proportions of normal cleanliness,normal flora density and normal flora diversity in the two groups were higher than those before the treatment,those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).During the treatment,there were no obvious adverse reactions in the two groups.After 2 months of follow-up after the treatment,the recurrence rate of the observation group was 5.56%(2/36),which was lower than 22.22%(8/36)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Qianjin capsule combined with Clotrimazole in the treatment of the VVC patients can improve the levels of vaginal microecological indexes,shorten the disappearance time of clinical symptoms,and reduce the Nugent scores and the recurrence rate.Moreover,it is superior to single Clotrimazole treatment.
