Effects of Shenkang injection combined with Bailing tablets in treatment of elderly patients with diabetic nephropathy
Objective:To observe effects of Shenkang injection combined with Bailing tablets in treatment of elderly patients with diabetic nephropathy(DN).Methods:The clinical data of 68 elderly patients with DN admitted to this hospital from August 2021 to May 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into control group and observation group,34 cases in each group.Both groups were given the symptomatic treatment.On this basis,the control group was treated with Bailing tablets,while the observation group was treated with Shenkang injection on the basis of that of the control group.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.The clinical efficacy,the renal function indexes[24 h urinary protein(24hUP),serum creatinine(Scr),blood urea nitrogen(BUN)]levels,the coagulation function indexes[fibrinogen(FIB),prothrombin time(PT)]levels,the oxidative stress indexes[superoxide dismutase(SOD),malondialdehyde(MDA)]levels,the transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1)levels,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before and after the treatment.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 94.12%(32/34),which was higher than 76.47%(26/34)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the levels of 24hUP,Scr and BUN in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the PT value of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the FIB level was lower than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment,the level of SOD in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,the levels of MDA and TGF-β1 were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Shenkang injection combined with Bailing tablets in the treatment of the elderly patients with DN can improve the total effective rate,reduce the levels of renal function indexes,improve the levels of coagulation function indexes and oxidative stress indexes,and reduce the level of TGF-β1.Moreover,it is superior to single Bailing tablets treatment.
