Correlation between musculoskeletal ultrasound feature score and severity of rheumatoid arthritis
Objective:To investigate correlations between musculoskeletal ultrasound feature score and severity of rheumatoid arthritis. Methods:The clinical data of 70 patients with rheumatoid arthritis admitted to this hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. They were divided into remission group(n=12,DAS28 score≤2.6),low activity group(n=18,2.6<DAS28 score≤3.2),middle activity group(n=22,3.2<DAS28 score≤5.1),and high activity group(n=18,DAS28 score>5.1)according to the rheumatoid arthritis disease activity evaluation table(DAS28)score.The musculoskeletal ultrasound feature scores of the four groups were compared.Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze its correlation with the severity of rheumatoid arthritis. Results:The scores of musculoskeletal ultrasound features such as joint effusion, synovial hyperplasia, joint bone erosion and synovial blood flow signals in the four groups were:high activity group>middle activity group>low activity group>remission group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The Pearson correlation analysis showed that the musculoskeletal ultrasound feature scores of joint effusion, synovial hyperplasia, joint bone erosion, and synovial blood flow signals were positively correlated with the severity of rheumatoid arthritis(r>0,P<0.05).Conclusions:The scores of musculoskeletal ultrasound features such as joint effusion, synovial hyperplasia, joint bone erosion and synovial blood flow signals are positively correlated with the severity of rheumatoid arthritis.
