Correlations among serum miR-150-5p,miR-196a,miR-21-5p levels and pathological parameters in patients with cervical cancer
Objective:To investigate correlations among serum microRNA-150-5p(miR-150-5p),microRNA-196a(miR-196a),microRNA-21-5p(miR-21-5p)levels and pathological parameters of cervical cancer patients.Methods:130 patients with cervical cancer admitted to this hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were selected as the cervical cancer group,82 patients with precancerous lesions were set as the precancerous lesion group, and 130 healthy subjects were set as the control group. The levels of serum miR-150-5p,miR-196a and miR-21-5p were compared among the three groups. The correlations among them and the pathological parameters of these cervical cancer patients were analyzed. Results:The levels of serum miR-150-5p,miR-196a and miR-21-5p in the cervical cancer group and the precancerous lesion group were higher than those in the control group, those in the cervical cancer group were higher than those in the precancerous lesion group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in the serum levels of miR-150-5p,miR-196a,and miR-21-5p among the cervical cancer patients of different ages, tumor diameters, and pathological types(P>0.05).The levels of serum miR-150-5p,miR-196a and miR-21-5p in the cervical cancer patients with low differentiation, federation international of gynecology and obstetric(FIGO)stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ,lymph node metastasis and infiltration depth>1/2 were higher than those in the patients with high differentiation,FIGO stage Ⅰ-Ⅱ,no lymph node metastasis and infiltration depth≤1/2 cervical cancer, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that the serum levels of miR-150-5p,miR-196a and miR-21-5p were positively correlated with FIGO stage, lymph node metastasis and invasion depth in the patients with cervical cancer(r>0,P<0.05),and negatively correlated with the differentiation degree(r<0,P<0.05).Conclusions:The serum miR-150-5p,miR-196a and miR-21-5p levels are positively correlated with FIGO stage, lymph node metastasis and invasion depth in the patients with cervical cancer, and negatively correlated with the differentiation degree.
