Comparison of effects of modified Cho suture and B-Lynch suture in treatment of patients with postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section
Objective:To compare effects of modified Cho suture and B-Lynch suture in treatment of patients with postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section. Methods:The clinical data of 70 parturients who underwent cesarean section in the hospital from May 2020 to May 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the different methods of uterine suture, they were divided into observation group and control group,35 cases in each group. The control group was treated with B-Lynch suture, while the observation group was treated with modified Cho suture. The hemostatic effect, the bleeding volume during operation,2 h and 24 h after delivery, the operation time, the duration of postpartum lochia, and the incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 94.74%(36/35),which was higher than 78.12%(25/35)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The amount of bleeding during operation and 2 and 24 h after delivery in the observation group was less than that in the control group, the operation time and the duration of postpartum lochia were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Modified Cho suture in the treatment of postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section can improve the hemostatic effect, reduce the amount of intraoperative and postpartum hemorrhage, and shorten the operation time and the duration of postpartum lochia. Moreover,it is superior to B-Lynch suture.
