Comparison of application effects of Ropivacaine and Bupivacaine combined spinal-epidural anesthesia in cesarean section parturients
Objective:To compare application effects of Ropivacaine and Bupivacaine combined spinal-epidural anesthesia in cesarean section parturients. Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 80 parturients with cesarean section admitted to the hospital from January 2020 to December 2022.According to the random number table method, they were divided into observation group and control group,40 cases in each group. The control group was given Bupivacaine combined spinal-epidural anesthesia, while the observation group was given Ropivacaine combined spinal-epidural anesthesia. The sensory block onset time, the motor block onset time, the Apgar score 1 min after birth, the mean arterial pressure, the heart rate, and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:The sensory block onset time and the the motor block onset time in the observation group were longer than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Immediately after skin incision and when the fetus was delivered, the levels of mean arterial pressure and heart rate in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 7.50%,which was significantly lower than 25.00%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the Apgar score 1 min after birth between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Ropivacaine combined spinal-epidural anesthesia for cesarean section can improve the mean arterial pressure and heart rate during cesarean section and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions. It is superior to Bupivacaine combined spinal epidural anesthesia, but it will prolong the sensory block onset time and the motor block onset time.
