Application effects of soothing palliative care based on childlike concept in children with hematological malignancy chemotherapy
Objective:To observe application effects of soothing palliative care based on childlike concept in children with hematological malignancy chemotherapy.Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 100 children with hematological malignancies admitted to the hospital from 2019 to 2021.According to the random number table method,they were divided into control group and study group,50 cases in each group.During chemotherapy,the control group was given routine nursing,while the study group was given the soothing palliative care based on childlike concept on the basis of that of the control group.The chemotherapy compliance after the intervention,the symptom perception[Chinese version of memory symptom assessment-short form(MSAS-SF)]score before and after the intervention,the incidence of adverse reactions,and the parental satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results:After the intervention,the chemotherapy compliance of the study group was 94.00%(47/50),which was higher than 76.00%(38/50)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The MSAS-SF scores of physiological symptoms and psychological symptoms in the two groups were lower than those before nursing,those in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 14.00%(7/50),which was lower than 36.00%(18/50)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Further,the parental satisfaction in the study group was 92.00%(47/50),which was higher than 74.00%(37/50)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:The smoothing palliative care based on the childlike concept in chemotherapy for the children with hematological malignancies can improve their chemotherapy compliance,reduce the symptom perception and the incidence of adverse reactions,and thus improve the parental nursing satisfaction.Moreover,it is superior to the routine nursing.
