Effects of Compound ossotide for injection combined with conventional drug treatment in treatment of postoperative patients with calcaneal fractures
Objective:To observe effects of Compound ossotide for injection combined with conventional drug treatment in treatment of postoperative patients with calcaneal fractures.Methods:62 patients with calcaneal fractures treated in this hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected for the prospective study.According to the random number table method, they were divided into study group and control group,31 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional drug treatment after the surgery, while the study group was treated with compound ossotide on the basis of that of the control group. The calf circumference, the swelling degree score of affected limb, the serum bone metabolism index[osteocalcin, bone alkaline phosphatase(BALP)]levels, the inflammatory index[serum C-reactive protein(CRP),white blood cell count(WBC)]levels, the pain visual analogue scale(VAS)score, and the incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results:2 weeks after the surgery, the levels of serum bone metabolism indexes such as serum osteocalcin and BALP were higher than those on the first day after the surgery, and those in the study group were higher than those in the control group;the calf circumference, the swelling degree scores of affected limb, the CRP levels, the WBC levels and the VAS scores of the two groups were lower than those on the first day after the surgery, and the those in study group were lower than those in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Compound ossotide for injection combined with conventional drugs in the treatment of the postoperative patients with calcaneal fractures can improve the levels of bone metabolism indexes, and reduce the difference of calf circumference, the swelling degree scores of affected limb, the VAS scores and the inflammatory index levels. Moreover,it is superior to single conventional drug treatment.
