Effects of Jinzhen oral liquid combined with Azithromycin in treatment of children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia
Objective:To observe effects of Jinzhen oral liquid combined with Azithromycin in treatment of children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(MPP).Methods:A prospective study was conducted on 90 children with MPP admitted to this hospital from February 2020 to February 2022.According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group,45 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Azithromycin, while the observation group was treated with Jinzhen oral liquid on the basis of that of the control group. The clinical efficacy, the levels of small airway function indicators[forced expiratory flow after 75%of vital capacity has been expelled(FEF75%),forced expiratory flow after 50%of vital capacity has been expelled(FEF50%),forced expiratory flow after 25%of vital capacity has been expelled]levels, the serological indicators[serum Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4),T myeloid differentiation factor 88(MyD88)]and the T cell subsets indicators(CD3+,CD4+,CD8+),and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before and after the treatment. Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 88.89%(40/45),which was higher than 66.67%(30/45)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the treatment, the FEF75%,FEF50%and FEF25%in the two groups were higher than those before the treatment, those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of TLR4 and MyD88 in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment, those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of CD3+and CD4+in the two groups were higher than those before the treatment, and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group;the levels of CD8+in the two groups were lower than those before the treatment, and that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group;and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Jinzhen oral liquid combined with Azithromycin in the treatment of the children with MPP can improve the total effective rate of treatment and the levels of small airway function indicators, improve the levels of T cell subsets indicators, and reduce the levels of serological indicators. Moreover,it is superior to simple Azithromycin treatment.
