Value of combined detection of serum HIF-1α,SP-D and Copeptin levels in prediction of prognosis of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with type II respiratory failure
Objective:To analyze value of combined detection of serum hypoxia-inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α),surfactant protein D(SP-D)and Copeptin levels in prediction of prognosis of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)complicated with type II respiratory failure.Methods:66 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with type II respiratory failure admitted to this hospital from 2022 were selected for the prospective study and they were set as the study group.According to the prognosis after 14 days of treatment, they were divided into the patients with poor prognosis(n=21)and the patients with good prognosis(n=45).Another 66 healthy subjects were selected as the control group. The levels of serum HIF-1α,SP-D and Copeptin were compared between the two groups at admission.Spearman correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlations among the serum HIF-1α,SP-D,Copeptin levels and prognosis. The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was drawn to analyze the value of single and combined detection of serum HIF-1α,SP-D and Copeptin levels in the prediction of the prognosis of the patients with COPD complicated with type II respiratory failure after 7 days of treatment. Results:On admission, the levels of HIF-1α,SP-D and Copeptin in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 7 days of treatment, the levels of serum Copeptin,SP-D and HIF-1α in the patients with good prognosis were lower than those in the patients with poor prognosis, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of serum HIF-1α,SP-D and Copeptin were positively correlated with the prognosis of the COPD patients with type II respiratory failure(r>0,P<0.05).ROC curve showed that the AUCs of single and combined detection of serum HIF-1α,SP-D and Copeptin levels in the prediction of the prognosis of the COPD patients with type II respiratory failure were 0.828,0759,0.813 and 0.905,separately,and the combined detection had the highest predictive value. Conclusions:The value of combined detection of the serum HIF-1α,SP-D and Copeptin levels in the prediction of the prognosis of the patients with COPD complicated with type II respiratory failure is higher than that of single detection of the three.
